Accessing Focus Bear Mode Settings:

For Mac

To access Focus Bear Mode settings, click 'Preferences' in the app menu, go to the 'Settings' tab, and find 'Focus Bear Mode' in the 'Strictness' section.

For Windows

To access Focus Bear Mode, click 'Preferences' in the app menu, then go to the 'General' section in the 'Settings' tab.

Understanding the Modes:

Cuddly Bear Mode:

This mode lets you decide when websites are blocked during your focus time. If a site is blocked, Focus Bear will ask if you need it, giving info on its relevance to your task.

  1. Say 'Yes' to allow: Choose this option if you need the website to be unblocked during your focus time.
  2. 'No' to block: Opt for this if the website is distracting, and Focus Bear will block it. You can unblock it later if you change your mind.
  3. 'Block and save for relax mode': Select this option to block the website and save the link. You can access the saved links during relaxation. The list of saved links appears when you perform an activity in your routine with 'Guilt-Free Play Pop-up' enabled.

When you open an app, Focus Bear also wants to make sure if you really need the app. Clicking 'Yes' will allow you to use the app, and clicking 'No - I was getting distracted’ will block the app and prevent you from using it until the focus block is over.

Clever AI Tip:
